Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers prompts, reference images, uploaded tiles, generated or repaired images, exports, and use of PatternCanva tools when available to your account. It supplements our Terms of Service. A successful Checker result does not certify that an image is lawful, original, exclusive, perfectly seamless, or suitable for a particular print process.

2. Your inputs and output rights

Submit only text, images, marks and personal information you have the right to use for your intended purpose. Obtain permission where needed for another person's likeness, private information, protected artwork or brand. Review outputs before publishing, selling or delivering them. Basic account outputs are for personal use; commercial use of compliant outputs requires an eligible paid account under our Commercial Use Policy. This policy grants no additional license or ownership guarantee.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not submit, request, repair, export or distribute through PatternCanva content that:

• Is illegal, infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, or uses material without required permission.
• Is sexually explicit, sexually suggestive or otherwise NSFW, including pornography; depicts or exploits minors in a sexual context; or sexualizes an identifiable person.
• Promotes violence, threats, abuse, hatred or discrimination, or facilitates illegal activity or harm.
• Impersonates a person, brand or organization without authorization, or is intended for fraud, counterfeiting or deceptive endorsement.

Do not bypass access controls or content restrictions, misuse another account, automate access without permission, or extract or resell the service or its models. Checker and Fixer may not be used to disguise prohibited source material.

4. Review and restrictions

We may reject a request, withhold an output or restrict access when we identify a violation of this policy or the Terms. We do not promise that every prohibited request will be detected or every permitted request will succeed. If you believe a restriction was a mistake, email hi@patterncanva.com with your account email, approximate time and License ID if available. Do not resend prohibited material by email. A request for review does not guarantee reinstatement.
